Private Hospital's in India

I had to get my wife admitted to hospital as she is pregnant and has some complications.

Let me tell you a simple instance of my latest visit. On 15 Aug in the evening my wife was having pain in her abdominal and I took her to the Gyn we regularly go to she immediately asked us to admit her and they will keep her in observation for 2-3 hours, immediately they started glucose bottle with some injection, I was then asked to go to reception where the girl asked few details and then told that there is no need of admission as its just observation latter a lady came there and asked me do I have insurance, guys that was it, they immediately got my wife admitted and after some time they told that she will be admitted for 2 days, so what was supposed to be a 2 hours of observation turned out to be a 2 days outing. Once in a day the doctor used to come for checkup nurses used to come after 2-3 hours, actually my wife became ok after 1 hour only and she wanted to go home but we were like trapped, once the nurse asked me to bring one injection from outside as it was unavailable in hospital pharmacy, I bought it from a shop nearby I was shocked after hearing the cost of 6 injections, 25 Rs, 4.15 per injection, I was wondering does any injection comes for 4 Rs ? The hospital people will simply put a bill of 3-4 K for pharmacy, however they will prescribe very cheap medicines but put expensive once in the bill.

Next day morning I thought 2 days are over and today my wife will be discharged, I got a SMS from TTK that 8K has been transferred to hospital account, so I went to the billing/ insurance dept of hospital and asked them about this SMS, to my shock they told me that this 8K is advance payment from the insurance company, the hospital guys have send a estimate of 15 K and 4-5 days as admission time.
I don't understand what is Medicine however by this time I clearly understood the business part which this hospital was doing or what all the private hospitals are doing throughout India.

It's shameful that a person like Doctor who is so much respected in the society is looting Govt Insurance companies.
Usually the most intelligent kid of the class  goes into MBBS, "the good boy of the class" and if they are doing this then why should we blame a politician for corruption.

During this time I have closely seen the business part of Doctors. These so called Dr of Nobel profession are Looting the government from Mediclaim Insurance policies of the patients.

While writing this I am sitting in the hospital room, the same Doctor entered in the room and I didn't even bothered to stand up.
